Exploration Place Science Centre & Museum
With so much to experience, this is one of PG's main attractions. Enjoy all of their little critters and animals, puzzles, games, their SimEx virtual ride, dinosaur bones and much more. Located in historic Fort George Park. Open on staturory holidays.
Summer: May long weekend to Thanksgiving long weekend. 7 days/wk. 10am - 5pm.
Winter: Wednesday through Sunday. 10am - 5pm.
Railway & Forestry Museum
A true Northern experience. Prince George has a tremendous history with railway and forestry. This is you chance to take a trip back in time to see and feel some classic railway cars, learn about forestry in our area and take a ride on their Cottonwood Miniature Railway system. Open year round.
Summer: May long weekend to September 1st. 7 days/wk. 10am - 5pm.
Winter: Tuesday through Saturday: 11am - 4pm.
Two Rivers Art Gallery
Two Rivers Gallery is a vital centre for visual art in Prince George and the central interior of British Columbia. Located in one of the cities most stunning buildings, you can enjoy a variety of Exhibitions, art programs and Shopping at the Gallery. Open year round.
Hours: Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri & Sat: 10am - 5pm. Sundays and holidays: noon - 5pm. Thursdays: 10am - 9pm. Free admission 3pm - 9pm.
Huble Homestead Historical Site
The Huble Homestead is a living historic site that offers tours of heritage buildings such as the Huble House, Salmon Valley Post Office and the Animal Shelter. Enjoy a breathtaking walk, visit their historic blacksmith, find the perfect gift at the General Store and more.
Hours: Open 10am - 5pm 7 days/wk from May to September long weekends. Open on weekends only in September and October. Closed November through to April.
Fort George Park
A perfect place to spend the day with the family. Fort George Park features their Rotary Playground and Spray Park, ride the train (summer), visit the Fraser Fort George Regional Museum and enjoy one of the many cultural events that happen throughout the year.
Noah's Ark Adventure Land
Truly fun for all ages. This place is a running farm that provides fun and entertainment for the whole family. Enjoy rides, sleigh rides (winter), pony rides, their petting zoo, and you can even play in the hay. Open year round.
Summer: In July and August we are open 7 days/wk from 10am - 6pm. We are open on Saturdays in May, June, Sept., Oct., and Dec. from 10 am - 5 pm.
Winter: Open on Saturdays (10am - 5pm) from December to March, as weather permits.
Goodsir Nature Park
An amazing outdoor adventure. This 100+ acre property features interesting and rare plant specimen. Enjoy a walk, take a guided tour and learn about all of these interesting and unique plant life.
Season: May - October. Open daily, 8am to dusk.

Four Seasons Leisure Pool
Perfect for all ages, the Four Seasons Leisure Pool offers a variety of pools for your enjoyment. For serious swimmers, they feature a 6 lane - 25 metre pool, a dive tank that has 1 and 3 meter springboards, a shallow water environment for young children and babies, a 90 foot water slide, a sauna, swirl pool and more. Prince George Aquatic Centre
Enjoy the wilderness as you float down the 28 meter lazy river, soak in the wheelchair accessible swirl pool or swim in the wave pool with waves up to 1 meter high. Work out in the fitness room with a personal trainer or swim laps in the 8 lane Olympic size pool. There is a 10 meter dive tower, snack bar and much more. With 2.8 million litres of water there is room for everyone. Open year round.

Tabor Mountain Resort
Close to downtown Prince George is excellent skiing and snowboarding for the Winter months, along with hiking and biking for the summer months.

Purden Ski Village
A little further out of town (East) is central British Columbia's largest ski mountain featuring 25 named runs and over two miles of fabulous terrain. For the summer months, look to enjoy Purden Lake.

Powder King Mountain Resort
Located north of Prince George in the snowbelt of the Pine Pass and the pristine wilderness of the Canadian Rockies, Powder King offers the best of the great outdoors with an amazing annual snowfall of 41 feet.
Otway Nordic Centre: X-Country Ski Trails
Located minutes west of Prince George, Ottway includes 45km of groomed trails, daily night skiing, a dog trail, a biathlon range with small cabin and a large comfortable day lodge.

The Ancient Forest
A true wonder and an amazing sight to see. The Ancient Forest is less than an hour east of Prince George and is one of the only interior cedar rainforests in the world. It's a hike that is breathtaking as you are surrounded by a stunning wilderness setting, along with some of the oldest and largest cedar trees ever found.

Forests for the World
Just minutes from downtown Prince George, Forests for the World features over 15km of trails that are perfect for hiking, biking and cross country skiing. The views are spectacular, the trails are great and Shane Lake offers picnic and fishing spots.

A perfect escape for walkers, runners, cyclists, skiers and other non-motorised users. This outdoor experience features over 300 hectares of natural environment containing 25 kms of multi-use trails.

Heritage River Trails
The Heritage Trails will lead you through the City's history. The rivers and their towering cutbanks are pre-glacial in origin. These trails extend between Cameron Street overpass and Carrie Jane Gray Park with only two major road crossings and is a complete circuit of more than 11 km (by following Carney Street alternate routes and side trails).

Teapot Mountain Hiking Trail
If you are looking for a medium range hike, along with spectacular views, this is for you. Teapot is a short uphill hike leading to a summit with four viewpoints providing 360 degree views of the surrounding lakes, rivers, forests and wetlands. Located north of PG by Summit Lake.
Fort George Canyon Hiking Trail
This day use trail is located in the historic canyon on the Fraser River and consists of two parcels on either side of the Fraser River. Located 25 km southwest of Prince George.
Aberdeen Glen Golf Course
Public Course - Everyone welcome! This 18 hole course is a par 73 layout carved through the scenic valleys and forest just a few minutes north of Prince George.
Aspen Grove Golf Course
A shorter course that proves to be quite challenging with water coming into play on 10 of the 18 holes. Located 14 kms south of Prince George, BC.
Open 7 days a week from mid-April to mid-October.
Links of Maggie-May Golf Course
A 'no pressure' 9 hole golf course in a relaxing country atmosphere with large greens and open fairways. Located in the Shellglen subdivision area just 15 minutes from downtown Prince George.
Yellowhead Grove Golf Course
Home of the $10,000 Hole-In-One. Less than 10 minutes from downtown Prince George, Yellowhead Grove provides a challenging game for the most seasoned golfers, but is also a pleasant golf outing for the beginner.
Ness Wood Golf Course
Situated on 170 acres of land northwest of Prince George at Ness Lake, Ness Wood is a 9-hole, par 72 golf course with a yardage of 6,438 yards.
Pine Valley Golf Course
Pine Valley offers a fully stocked pro shop, two tiered driving range, licensed concession, outdoor BBQ area, tournaments and many services ranging from golf lessons and clinics to full catering. Located on Highway 16 West in Prince George, next to Costco. A Par 3, 18 hole golf course.
Prince George Golf & Curling Club
An exciting variety of Par 3’s, Par 4’s and Par 5’s. In addition to a championship golf course the Club also has 8 sheets of curling ice, 5 racket courts, a driving range and complete dining/lounge facilities.
Alder Hills Golf
A public 18-hole facility, located on the east side of Prince George about 8 minutes from downtown. A Par 3 course.
